Parks Putting Could Leave You Broke
South Korea’s Yeon Ryu has a warning for all golfers: never gamble with two-time major winner Inbee Park!
Park, the recently crowned Kraft Nabisco champion, demonstrated her putting skills en-route to her second major win at the weekend, and the runner-up at the Kraft Nabisco and friend, So Yeon Ryu, said she uses her talents to empty the pockets of others.
Ryu said: “She really likes to gamble, so when I practice with her she always calls me to gamble like 10 bucks a hole, but she always makes the hardest par putts, like 8 foot par putts, 16 foot par putts. I can't win like 10 bucks. She always wins like 50 bucks. She always takes my money, so she always buys me dinner, lunch, whatever.”
It’s good to hear Inbee doesn’t leave her victims high and dry so if she does challenge you to a putt off for money at least you’ll get a meal out of it, even if you paid for with your own hard earned cash.
