LPGA Stars Involved in Car Crash in Thailand
It seems there are few more dangerous jobs at the moment than playing on the LPGA Tour. One week on from Daniela Holmqvist being bitten by a venomous spider and the rest of the tour ducking Kangaroos in Australia Suzann Pettersen, Paula Creamer and Ai Miyazato were involved in a five car pile up airport after the final round of the Honda LPGA Thailand.
Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt with Paula Creamer and Ai Miyazato escaping with whiplash with Creamer, who also suffered a sore shoulder, hoping to be playing again by the end of the week. The Pink Panther tweeted "I will probably be sore for several weeks. My air bag did not deploy. Had seat belt on thank goodness."
Suzzane Peterson’s tweeted pictures of the multi-vehicle pile up (Click for Image)show just how serious the incident could have been but went to reassure well wishers tweeting, “Made it safe to Singapore! Lesson learned from earlier tonight: 1-always wear seat belts. 2- keep distance to car in front= safe driving!”
