Callaway Golf Receive Personal Thank-You From Open Winner Phil Mickelson
Good guy Phil Mickelson further enhanced his image as one of the nicest men in the game by taking himself and the Open trophy to Callaway Golf headquarters in California so he could personally thank everyone for their help in his victory.
A clearly emotional Mickelson said to the packed building: "I know there's a lot of you, but I want everyone to hold the jug."
Callaway CEO, Chip Brewer added happily: "This wasn't even planned. Phil text me this morning asking if he could come by."
Phil Mickelson’s decision to visit staff at his club manufacturers following his success at Muirfield was a class act and one which will hopefully catch on.
